I am horified. I just found out that National Geographic ran a survey that seems to show most young Americans as geographically illiterate. 89% of Americans 18 - 24 could find our country on a map, but only 56% could find Italy. Look for the boot people! Only 17% could find Afganistan. We Just Invaded Them!!! A map of their country was flashed on CNN 40 times a day. Oh I almost forgot, half can't find New York on a map.
